One of the best Zodiac websites on the internet is The Zodiac Revisited operated by Michael Cole, covering all topics related to the Zodiac case. Michael regularly posts articles, which is a refreshing change from the standpoint of websites, that have largely been superseded by the Zodiac forum as the first port of call for Zodiac sleuths. Forums have their place and are great for exchanging ideas and theories, but can also be a source of misinformation regarding the Zodiac case. Michael Cole is extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the case, and his website should be one of your first choices when learning the facts on anything Zodiac related.

Many outlandish theories and numerous suspects have emerged regarding the identity of the Zodiac Killer since the emergence of Robert Graysmith's two books, the last of which was Zodiac Unmasked in 2002. These books are not designed to be impartial, but heavily selective in the 'evidence' they present - and as such - should be routinely questioned as a reliable source of information. If you buy any Zodiac books in 2020, then The Zodiac Revisited Trilogy by Michael Cole is not a bad place to start, whether you are a seasoned Zodiac veteran or completely new to the case.

Michael Cole has a revamped website, with an easy category navigation, a video and newspaper section, and a comprehensive archive. One article I would recommend is the "My Name is" Cipher Motivation, examining the driving force behind Zodiac's ego and his ability to respond to the newspaper articles that crossed his path. However, there are numerous extremely interesting articles and a comment section so you can contribute your thoughts. Very true Rich, an author with an agenda to push/promote a suspect as the Zodiac I think is far more likely to spin the truth or factual details to fit His or Her agenda and suspect.

That's why if I were asked my opinion or advice on which book to get a copy of for anyone new to this case, I would have to advise reading 'This is the Zodiac Speaking: Into the Mind of a Serial Killer' written by Michael Kelleher and Co-Authored by David Van Nuys because Kelleher has no suspect or agenda He wishes to push and Dr David Van Nuys analyses the Zodiac letters and offers His own professional opinions as to the person authoring them. Van Nuys only knows these are the letters of the serial killer Zodiac and doesn't know any of this case's specific detail.
Kelleher also sticks to strictly factual data and known circumstances. Yes, Kelleher does occasionally offer His own opinion, but He tells you that is all it is.

I mean some book I've read on the case I just shake my head at. For example, one book I read last year see's the Author telling Her readers that the last attack by Zodiac, the murder of Paul Stine, occurred on October 10th, 1969.

I mean this is the most rudimentary and basic fact one should know and get write, the actual day on which a crime takes place, when you are writing about it in a book that will be published. All that author did for me was show that She was either incompetent Herself in that she couldn't determine the most easy and basic of fact checking or if She Herself wasn't, then she needs to sack her researcher because they sound to me rather like our secret pal who is dispatcher for SFPD. . Extremely Incompetent!

I share your appreciation of Michael Kelleher. He's very knowledgeable, balanced, and always has a well-reasoned approach.

Yes, I GUESS I'LL BE READING THIS I GAVE UP LONG TIME AGO, I MYSELF HAD 5FRIENDS MURDERED BY ZODIAC KILLER. I REMEMBER HIM SO WELL ONE REASON WHY I LEFT THE AREA..VERY SPOOKY TO THIS DAY 8 MET WITH DETECTIVES AND WAS SUPPOSE TO MET WITH KEN NOLAN, AND I JUST COULDN'T ALWAYS BEEN TO FRIGHTENING I WAS APART OF THIS HORRIBLE TIME. I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL IN NAPAVALLEY, CALIF.WHEN THIS WAS GOING ON AND. 8M KNOW PROFESSIONAL WRITER.
